De samenleving is historisch, evolutionair, opgebouwd door ego’s. Alles is gebaseerd op individualisme en het in stand houden ervan. Neem bv een artiest, deze moet presteren en naam maken, zichzelf op het voorplan hijsen – hetgeen het ego vergroot – om te kunnen overleven op materieel vlak. Hetzelfde geld voor vele andere domeinen: zakenwereld, politiek, wetenschap, … Mensen worden gedwongen en aangeleerd zich agressief op te stellen: concurrentie, ambitie, competitie. Het onderwijssysteem is daar ook volledig op gericht: technische en wetenschappelijke kennis opdoen om te kunnen presteren en functioneren als een werkmachine in de maatschappij. Er word nauwelijks of veel te weinig aandacht gegeven aan de betekenis van het leven, het bestaan, inzicht in onszelf enz. Ook word veel als normaal en\/of onvermijdelijk beschouwd en niet of nauwelijks in vraag gesteld, zoals oorlog, grenzen, concurrentie, voortdurende (economische en andere) groei, enz. Egocentrisme, groepsgevoel, nationalisme en tribalisme worden op vele manieren gepromoot in media, sport, cultuur, \u2026 Er heerst een algemeen gedragspatroon van ik op de eerste plaats, dan mijn verwanten en naasten (gradueel), kennissenkring enz, en dan de rest, voor zover daar nog plaats voor is. Ook het begrip de andere, die niet is zoals wij, de vreemdeling, word sterk gepromoot. Van \u00e9\u00e9nheid is hier geen sprake. Dit cre\u00ebert een op zichzelf gekeerde verdeelde samenleving waar nog weinig sprake is van harmonisch samen leven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Society is historically, evolutionarily, built by egos. Everything is based on individualism and on the maintaining of it. Take for example an artist who must perform and make a name for himself, hoist himself to the foreground – which increases the ego – in order to be able to survive on a material level. The same applies to many other domains: business, politics, science, \u2026 People are forced and taught to be aggressive: rivalry, ambition, competition. The education system is also fully focused on this: gaining technical and scientific knowledge in order to be able to perform and function as a work machine in society. Hardly or far too little attention is given to the meaning of life, existence, insight into ourselves, etc. Also, much is considered normal and\/or inevitable and not or hardly questioned, such as war, borders, competition, constant growth (economic and other), etc. Egocentrism, group feeling, nationalism and tribalism are promoted in many ways in media, sports, culture, \u2026 There is a general pattern of behavior of me first, then my relatives and neighbors (gradually), circle of acquaintances, etc, and then the rest, as far as there is still room for them. Also, the concept of the other, who is not like us, the stranger, is strongly promoted. There is no question of unity here.
